Il Monello was born in 2014, near Place Stéphanie, along the famous Chaussée de Charleroi, thanks to the passion of two siblings, Alessandro and Roberta. Their adventure began with a shared dream of creating a gelateria that not only offered delicious ice cream but also served as a gathering place for the community.

Alessandro inherited the art of ice cream making from an Italian master gelato maker, Francesco Suppa. Under his guidance, he learned the essential techniques and, over time, perfected his recipes, making them unique and personal. His dedication and creativity are evident in every flavor, turning Il Monello into a true oasis of freshness.

Roberta, with a background in hotel management, brought a solid foundation of experience to the business. Her numerous placements around the world provided her with a robust base, enabling her to effectively organize and manage the daily operations of the gelateria. Her vision and customer-oriented approach have made Il Monello a welcoming and beloved spot for visitors.

Together, Alessandro and Roberta created not just an excellent gelateria but also a space where ice cream and hospitality blend, making each visit a memorable experience.
